Dr. Melba Agatep Berbano was born, raised, and educated in The Philippines, where she actually completed her studies for her medical doctor degree at The Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. Known also as FEU-NRMF Institute of Medicine, the school is one of the pioneer medical schools in the Philippines located in Novaliches, the northern district of Quezon City in the Republic of the Philippines. Dr. Berbano moved to the United States to grab the better opportunities that this country offered to a promising medical practitioner. She did both her internship and residency training at the Jersey City Medical Center | Barnabas Health located in Jersey City, New Jersey. Her next career move was to work towards acquiring her certification in obstetrics and gynecology with the prestigious American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which she achieved as proposed. Between her studies in The Philippines and her relocation to the United States, Dr. Berbano received an award from the Royal College of 
Physicians in the UK. Based on her remarkable dedication, clinical excellence, and outstanding ability to work with patients over the years, Dr. Melba Agatep Berbano has been inducted into the premier ranks of The Leading Physicians of the World by the International Association of HealthCare Professionals (IAHCP).
